Full of entertainment options

The Roku 2 is fast and has so many options. Browsing and searching through Hulu Plus for example is a breeze compared to our old system. We're very happy with our new Roku 2 and recommend it.

Tried all sorts of Android devices.............some worked well, others did
not!!
Needed a device that streams "Acorn TV".

Easy to set up. Synced with the remote without having to manually go thru a process like the Roku stick i tried. This player is fast and easy to use. No buffering or streaming issues, even with less than satisfactory wi-fi. I'm not close enough to use the ethernet. Lots of app choices. Amazon, Netflix, music, or any existing accounts are easy enough to connect. Free channels, but a lot want monthly fees. Don't care about those personally since we still have direct tv. Since I pay monthly for Google Play Music, i wish they had that channel. But, very happy so far.

GRANTED I DID MY RESEARCH AND EXPECTED THIS TO BE THE BEST MEDIA PLAYER ON THE MARKET I AM STILL PLEASANTLY SURPRISED.

user friendly, easy setup

I have had my roku 2 player for about a month. It was easy to set up and easy to navigate. There are many different options for streaming. Some do require a fee but there are many that are free. It is totally worth the money and I should have got one sooner!

I bought this as a suggestion from a friend. I'm not a big TV viewer (although I like PBS). I still have problems navigating the system (operator error I think). But I have seen a handful of good shows so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!
