Have to pay monthly fees for most everything. .any free apps included movies that I would care for. .not what I expected.

Bought it, installed it, and none of the apps would work. Returned it, bought an Apple TV, and it works phenomenal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wow, it arrived, I plugged it in and dang--shows! Well I did have to enter passwords for my netflix and directv accounts, but we are watching! BUT instructions showing the buttons on the remote would have helped!!! Still guessing about some functions--and online help didn't answer them all. However my grandchildren have helped....
I would recommend this to a friend!

I won a 50 inch TV recently at golf tournament, which was awesome! However, it was not a smart TV and my house hold is addicted to netflix. So, with the help of the Roku, device my new TV is now a smart TV!

I've had the Roku-2 about 3 weeks now and really am impressed with this little unit. Simple to connect, simple to operate, and tons of choices to select from.

A friend recommended Roku to me. The Roku 2 was simple to set up and very easy to use. I am able to gain access to the programming I want at an affordable price. A great bargain!
