Way better than the Smart TV App.

We have a fairly new "Smart TV" and tried to stream both NetFlix and Hulu. Both worked but would drop out often. I knew that our internet speed was NOT the issue so I tried a Roku. NO MORE PROBLEMS!! The streaming was so great (even in HD) with NO pauses or "drop outs" that I purchased a second Roku for our bedroom.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast access to Netflix's and other programming

Took 20 minutes to set-up through my Wi-Fi connection.

I bought Roku 1 first then Roku 2. I like them both. This is all the entertainment I need and am so glad I cut the cord

Roku works much better than Apple TV! Didn't love the stick returned that but love Roku 2

Chromecast vs Roku 2. Roku is the winner

I have a chromecast and used it very often but kept reading the reviews about Roku. I finally broke down and purchased the Roku 2. Roku is the obvious winner hands down. I love this new device and wish I had gotten the Roku instead of chromecast. Sling TV is awesome as well as some of the free content. Roku 2 is so easy to operate I no longer use my phone to cast to the tv and Roku makes operating it very convenient. Thanks Roku.

Somewhat disappointed

We were hoping to replace TV with this product but find you need a TV provider to access many of the channels on there. If I had a TV provider I wouldn't need a ROKU
