I'll never pay for cable!

If you want to watch it, you can find it on your Roku. The video quality is far beyond what I expected. I love being able to search all of my channels at once to see if I can find a title for free or at a reduced price. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I cancelled my cable from a major cable company due to increasing costs. Bought this Roku, got Netflix.... AWESOME. I had no idea there was actually "something else" out there in the world that could provide great entertainment at a cost I can actually afford. I am so glad I went the Roku route and would highly recommend it!

Does work slower than earlier model

Replaced an earlier model and it is no equal. Can't use it for Angry Birds, and loads Hulu and Netflix very slowly

Flawless Streaming

Do you suffer from Chronic Buffer Syndrome (CBS) due to an outdated streaming device? This Roku 2 offers instant relief and is a pleasure to own- not one pause to buffer or crash in over a week of using the new Roku. The menus move fast and fluidly. This is a no brainer if you have subscriptions to any of the movie services (or want to check out the many free ones, including Pandora), but need to get them to that slightly older tv that lacks or has questionable wifi capabilities (must have hdmi input though). With dual band wifi it's Roku to the rescue!

My daughter had used Apple TV! When my son and I decided to try Roku, the comparison wasn't even close! Easy to use and set up! My daughter has since switched to The Roku 3 and absolute loves it! I started with the first version, Roku 1...I'm now at Roku 3. Great features like watching TV in private with the headphones! I will never use anything but Roku again!

I bought this in hopes there would be improvement in streaming MLB station, might be a little improved, but still have problems, Murphy's Law, usually in the most exciting parts of the game. I was otherwise happy with my Roku 1, so really don't notice an improvement with the 2
