The only complaint I have is that I didn't get this sooner. I love the fact that not only are there free channels to watch, but the ones that have a subscription, you're paying for only that what you want. I have removed cable and I only use Roku for watching television. With cable, you're paying for channels that you probably will never watch. With my Roku, I choose what to watch and when. I love it.

Nice features and some unique apps

I bought Roku especially for the Sling (formerly Dish-World) app which allows me to watch Indian programming at decent monthly cost. Roku is a great alternative to Apple/Amazon tv but needs to be refreshed with good processing power (I have Roku 2 and know that Roku 3 is already in market which might be faster)... Another issue is the remote (somehow I felt it slow and unresponsive).

I don't watch TV, I listen to it. But since I got my roku, I'm actually watching it. I did away with cable due to the cost and my son suggested I try this. I am glad I took his advise.

Good wifi rception

Trying to watch sling tv on Amazon fires tick. Buffering. Being kicked off internet. Changed internet companies to no avail. Now fighting this sling problem since June. Now have Roku 2 and have had no further problems. Love it. Only draw back is no Pluto tv which is 100 ch plus of free tv.

Old Model took time to load. This one is very quick and easy to use. Has a lot more actions that can be taken with the remote. Be care full loading the programs that are available. some cost way to much.
