Quite easy to use , fast and trouble free. Only had a glitch one time, unplugged, re plugged and no more trouble.

Replaced XS

My Roku XS was not performing optimally so after nearly 4 year I decided to replace it with a newer version; the Roku 2. I debated over the 2 and 3 for a while and just felt the 3 just had many more features than the 2. So far I am pleased with the faster processor, the only drawback is the new remote; it is definitely line of sight as compared to the XS remote. Additionally the wrist loop was a great feature of the XS not incorporated in the Roku 2. So overall I am not disappointed entirely, or just have to get used to the new remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

They work great for a while, but they all quit working far sooner than they should for the amount they cost. The remotes constantly require new batteries and often quit working.

Bought this like a week ago. Live in an apartment and wasn't alowed to put cable in bedroom. This was the perfect solution

I love the remote

I have only been using it for a week but it seems easy to learn. I especially like the remote even though it adds one more to my stack of remotes. I have programmed my IPhone 6 to control the remote and that helps. It's also nice to place my pix and videos from my phone through the Roku. More comments later as I become more familiar with it.

I was searching for a new streaming player to replace my Sony BluRay player which had become slow and problematic. After reading and asking around, I settled on a Roku 2. GREAT decision!! It is fast, and does everything I want!
