Bought this two weeks ago and I love it!! The Roku has allowed me to cancel my satellite television! ! Give it a try you could save a ton of money!

This roku is a great buy. We will probably buy two more for the other rooms. Only complaint is no live tv but I'll get over it

Great functionality

I was doubtful about this little device and it's abilities to handle streaming the services. Let me say that I am extremely excited about the Roku 2. We plan on buying another for our children. If you have the money and are looking for a streaming device invest your money in the Roku series of devices, they are worth it.

Connects to my network drive and supports 5ghz

I got the Roku 2 which is a nice upgrade from my older Roku Xhd. This one has Sling tv button on the remove which I use the most. Also this supports dual band wifi which is nice. It can connect to my network attached storage (NAS) from Synology to stream photos, videos etc.
The only thing I miss is "point anywhere remove". I would want this feature on all remotes for all rokus. Its an inconvenience to point it to the direction all the time. I use the Roku mobile app when I have to type search, usernames, passwords as pointing the Remote and clicking those arrows is bad.
Roku please add point anywhere remote feature to all version of remote. If we get that feature I would rate it 4 stars.

We bought our first Roku several years ago and decided to turn our son's bedroom into a movie room upon his departure for college. The second unit is even better then the first. Well worth the investment. RL in Kansas
