Fast with all the main features of the Roku 3.

I bought the Roku 2 a few weeks ago to replace an older streaming device that was slow and cumbersome. I have a Roku 3 on our main TV but wanted something a little faster that would stay connected better for our bedroom TV. Since I didn't need all the Roku 3 features I went with the Roku 2. I am very pleased with the performance and other than some features that are missing with the 2 that are on the 3, it performs every bit as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have had the Roku 2 (2015) for several weeks now. My husband and I both said why did we wait so long to change over to video streaming. Love it. We don't play games, love watching the shows. Easy set up. I would recommend it

Broke after 2 days

Bought it and I thought it would be better than it was. After 2 days it stopped working and wouldn't turn on. Maybe I just bought a defective one. Either way I just ended up returning it instead of getting another one.

Great Apps

I bought this a few months ago and am so glad I did! I used to plug my computer into my TV using an HDMI cord, but now I can watch Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, the BTN, and so many other channels using Apps right on my TV which frees up my computer so I can work on other things at the same time! The App on my phone also makes it nice for typing. Plus, I can listen to Pandora while I clean. I love it!

Wait if you have Windows 10

The main reason I bought the Roku 2 was because I knew I could project my computer to my television. Unfortunately I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and Roku only works with Windows 8. Otherwise, except for being able to watch Netflix on another TV, I really don't need Roku. Hoping the fix comes soon!!

Crashes everyday

I have received y Roku 2 player this month for free because Sling bought the Dish World and they do not want to support the Dish world app on my Samsung SmartTV. Now I have to use this free Roku 2 layer to watch Dish World / SlingTv channels. Unfortunately, the Sling Tv app crashes at least once every day and restarts on me. I am nor sure if it is a problem with the Roku or the SlingTv app but either way I am annoyed.

Smooth, easy, and a pleasure

We owned several blurays that streamed movies to our 55" tv. Constant bufferring issues and interrupted movie viewing occurred. We bought a Roku hoping to give us relief. The Roku is perfect. It was easy to set up and works seamlessly. Has many apps for viewing. I would suggest a Roku to anyone aspiring to watch streamed movies---the audio and video quality is amazing. You will not be disappointed with a Roku.
