I bought the Roku 2 about one month ago! I love it! Should of bought this a long time ago! So worth my money! I was up all last week watching Nurse Jackie. It was so easy to set up!

Bought this two weeks ago and we are very pleased. We can see all the programs and channels that we like and are not paying the high prices to cable/satellite.

A great improvement over its predecessor

Roku 2 second generation is great improvement the speed and snappy. The old version was so slow. I also like the shortcut keys. The only downside is the remote which you have to point directly at the roku to make it to work. If you dont have a issue with point at your roku this is good alternative to roku 3. Roku 2 is a no thrills version of the roku 3 with a lower price point. Overall its a great device.

Lots of content to choose from with the ROKU. Much more content than my Samsung SMART TV, but quantity does not equal quality. Since cutting the cord (DISH), most of my time spent is on HULU. There are other available content providers, but the ones I want to use require a login with a cable or dish type provider.
Truth is, there is still no competitor for true live programming. I can livestream local news, but it's glitchy. If I was in an area that was served by Over-The-Air programming the ROKU would fill the streaming media gap, but I would still spend most of my viewing hours on live local programming; CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, etc.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good for bedroom TV and streaming movies There is no cable or antenna on this TV so Roku is great!
