Bought this a couple weeks ago. The picture is great, much better than streaming through my PlayStation 3. I love the Netflix button for easy access. Would be better if it had a Hulu button on the remote as well. I think people should know that most apps cost money so be prepared for that if thinking of purchasing Roku products. Enjoying mine so far!

Will not receive ESPN 3

I purchased this device to watch college football on ESPN 3. I saw the ESPN logo on the box and read all the available information on the outside of the box prior to purchase and assumed since this was an internet receiver that I could watch ESPN 3. I was wrong. I returned the device for a refund. I know a number of people who love their ROKU, but this is a significant shortcoming.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was tired of paying ridiculous prices for cable so I thought I would try this. It has exceeded my expectations. I have Netflix and Hulu so between that and all the other free banners on Roku I can watch ever show I used to watch! Netflix and Hulu only 16.00 a month- cannot beat this. Best investment I've made in a while!

Roku/Plex work great

I love using my Roku player with plex give me all the functionality I need to watch my media the fast efficient way. The Roku 2 remote is not that great wish it came with the enhanced remote.
