Has all the features, Great UI for Netflix

I was an Apple TV (2/3 generation) user, but I have been converted. While I love the Apple ecosystem and will still keep my old Apple TV, it is nice to be able to have ALL of the dedicated apps within the box. I can't get Sling or Amazon Streaming without using Airplay. It's annoying and doing so requires me to have device set aside to run the app. The Roku's are just better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We cut the cable and find all the options we need for complementing our "free" over-the-air viewing. Saved >$70/month

Roku 2 gets very warm if left pugged in, so I only apply power when I want to use it. Works fine when not overheated.

I recently purchased the roku 2...new version (faster processor )...easy to setup as well as a simple interface...I have experienced some lag with sling tv and hbo now...but not with Netflix or vudu...so not sure if it is a roku issue or an issue with those particular vendors...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very disappointed

I bought 3 roku 3 players within the past year. They all stopped playing after about 2 months. Then I tried a roku 2 player. This one can't consistently find the Netflix server. I will not buy another roku.

Software is limited in what it can do

I bought this as means that I can view both Netflix and other applications on the internet, and also view movies on my shared network from my local media server. I had boughten all the applications and then some., and became more and more disappointed.

I bought this hoping to cut the cord. Hate it.it is too difficult to locTe shows to watch. It is mostly just a conduit for pay to view choices.

Bought the Roku a week ago. Set up took about ten minutes. Works very well. Linked to my cable service app, so I avoid all the wires all over the place. That makes my wife happy.
