Many of the channels available alliw you still catch your shows, even some as they air. The casting ability allows the roku to be even more flexible when cutting cable

For years we have used our xbox and dvd player to watch Netflix and Hulu. Roku is so much easier to use. I can't believe how many channels there are and how many of them are free. The remote is so easy to use that my 4 year old can do it. Set up is so easy! I just signed in to my wireless network and started adding channels.

Still the Best

I bought this new one to replace our old one that had worked pretty trouble free for over 2 1/2 years. I wanted to try and hold out for the Roku 4 but it just wasn't going to happen. Our TV viewing is 90% thru the Roku. I am very pleased with the upgrades they have made to the R2 and can't wait to see how the R4 is.

I've had it for about a week now. It's just okay. I need to explore it more I guess. But I was under the impression that there would be a lot more free things to watch on here. Everything I am interesting in watching and that I search for, the options are ones that I have to pay for. The set up is very easy though. I would recommend it though especially for people who don't have a smart tv because it adds more features to your tv. I do have a smart tv this just added a little bit more to it.

The Roku is working great, so far and I am enjoying programs I did not have access to prior to buying one. However, not being tech savvy, I found the set up not as easy as I was led to believe. However, the Roku tech people were super helpful and patient!
