Didnt work for us

I bought this for my husband who is in a rehab center so he could watch the Texas Ranger games and other sports channels the facilities could not get. Roku was not able to pick up the Ranger games even though I paid for the MLB package. He was not able to pick up Fox Sports (FSSW) which broadcasts all his favorite sports teams and he was not able to pick up all ESPN channels so this defeated the purchase I made
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just set-up my Roku 2 and watched a movie, it was easy! Great to stream my Netflix on the TV

We moved to a new home and I was not interested in continuing to pay a small fortune for cable. No problem finding good programming and the interface is simple.

I bought this a few weeks ago to stream the NHL. I had everything going in minutes and still lots of apps to explore.

My daughter has been using this for a couple of weeks now, and she is happy with it. Thanks to this, she is almost through One Tree Hill. Lol
