My Roku2 is a wondrous piece of machinery. Only downfall is that it doesn't pick up local digital TV signal. If it allowed me to pick up local broadcast TV, the Roku2 would be the perfect multimedia device!

We have 2 of these and have ordered a Roku stick. We are very happy that we cut the cord. There are also a lot of stations you can add for free (outside of Roku)

I'm a huge fan of roku! We have been using roku 3 and decided to get a roku 2 (because reviews said it had been improved and was a better value) for my son's room, there's nothing wrong with the roku 2 but I believe in my personal opinion prefer the roku 3 because of the bluetooth remote option whereas the the roku 2 has a ir remote and you have to actually aim it at the reciever. Still a huge fan of roku but I'll stick with the roku 3.

disappointed with roku 2

I purchased a roku LT a few years ago and decided to buy a faster unit, the roku 2. I had a great deal of trouble setting up the roku 2 on a wireless network. It doesn't hold the signal from the router and the remote is very picky. I use the roku LT remote instead. the roku 2 is faster than the prior unit but harder to use and a disappointment. I'll return the roku 2 if the problems continue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Jams my wireless network

I love my Roku but it jams up my wireless network. This is a problem with many other users and something Roku should look into. Other than that it is a great device...

I bought the Roku 2 as an upgrade over my Roku Stick and the upgrade is fantastic! Better picture and a whole lot more speed! I'm very, very satisfied.
