I had the Roku 1 and I recently got my Roku 2 from Sling and for some reason that does not seem to perform as good as the Roku 1. I see continuous interruption in streaming with the Roku 2. Not sure if that is a device issue cos when I swapped back to Roku 1 it works fine.
Also navigating through apps is slow and also response of the remote if sitting on my sofa set is just terrible.
I myself work for a mobile company and performance, experience and ease of use is very critical for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought two Roku 2 for my city home and one in rural mountains.
Is absolutely great tool. Has great features and its design is elegant and easy to use.
It has many options and programs.It downloads fast specially Netflix movies.Everyone in my family enjoys using Roku 2.Highly recommend it.
