I purchased my Ruko and found it easy to set up. I am still learning how to find the programs that are available and what will be of interest and what will not. There are the obvious things..movies and specials and of course sports, but news from other nations..shows from around the world. Indeed it is like a door opened to a new opportunity to explore the world from my living room. My only negative comment would be the remote, it is cheap, no other words for it. For a quality product like Ruko this controller lacks the quality I would expect. It is sluggish in response and often I get impatient and click too many times ending up with many channels passing by once it does connect. The fix is easy though..I use my cell phone as a remote and it works great. If they are not going to provide a quality remote..why not recommend from the start that you use your remote for best response?

I hate buying gadgets and having to spend the afternoon setting them up. I am really enjoying it, having Vudu it was my main goal and I got so much more.

Not Great

Rewinding is a frustrating experience. I quickly lose my place if I rewind too far and can't advance back where I was. The picture quality acts up on occasion and becomes garbled. I have FIOS so don't know why there would be problems but perhaps it is my internet provider.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We got rid of cable

We bought our first ROKU @ six months ago....we now have four...three sticks and one ROKU 2. The main difference we found is the ROKU 2 remote needs to be in direct line with the box.

Very Hard to use

Bought it, thought I could upload my slingbox and I would be done. Spent At least 7 hours and still no slingplayer. Only the one you subscribe to. I have a account and wanted all my local channels.

So easy to stream!

I recently bought a roku 2 after years of streaming through a Nintendo wii. The roku is so easy to use and I never have a problem streaming netflix or hulu. Very happy with this product.

My sons convinced me to try it and I shall always be glad they did! Added feature for me is that I also can use the ROKU app as my remote which is blazingly fast since I have wifi and don't have to be pointing directly at the box which is relatively small. Love it!
