We bought this a coupke weeks ago and are extremely happy with it. When we decided to get rid of cable/satellite and go to something internet based, we were torn between Roku and chromecast. My wife and I are extremely happy we went with Roku. The only thing that I find annoying is that the remote sensor has to have direct line of site to work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this to get a selection of channels after cutting out cable. Limited options when you live out in the country. The Roku 2 has been great right out of the box. I recommend it to everyone who is sick of the high price of cable. Thanks Roku.

Bought a second Roku

This is my second Roku purchase. I bought one and moved it from one TV to the other, but since we watch Roku so much, I purchased a second one so we would not have to move it. The selection of programming is great. The reception is good and rarely has to reload. The product is easy to connect to my TV. The box itself does get a little warm, so I have it on a plug strip and just turn off the strip when I am finished watching. I allow 30 seconds or so for the device to reconnect to the server the next time I turn it on. I am pleased with my purchase, obviously, since I bought a second one. Happy watching everyone.

I bought this about 1 month ago from Walmart. I am a Netflix customer, and added the streaming capability to work with my new Roku. Works great! Another benefit that I really enjoy is 'Plex'. This allows me to stream media (pictures, videos, etc.) straight from my home computer to my TV via Roku!
