I have been using my Roku 2 for about two weeks and my family and I love it. I’m already thinking about buying a second unit for my bedroom.

Good product but don't buy for Sling TV

I bought this to use with Sling TV. Well the Roku works very well but the Sling TV service sucks and just buffers during prime time or while games are on TBS or ESPN. I think Roku needs to drop Sling TV as a service from Roku. Sling TV won't refund money spent to watch it even though it does not stream correctly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Apps lacking

I really like my roku - very nice device. HOWEVER, many top apps are lacking things: Amazon Prime has no genre menu. HBO GO is missing it's Late Night category. Roku's media player app will not random/shuffle play audio files from a library with albums in folders...

I use primarily for Netflix streaming and it is sooo much simpler than streaming thru the Wii or any other game console! For this low price, why didnt I buy this sooner?! It has dedicated buttons that bring you directly to
