Love the Roku but wish I had bought Roku 3. Maybe when the price lowers on 3, I will get the Roku 3

I bought my Roku 2 about a week ago, mainly for the ability to play Spotify and Netflix on my television. While it is perfect for Netflix, I am very disappointed with the Spotify channel. I only have access to playlists I already follow - I cannot browse music the same way that I can on my computer. This very much limits the music I can play directly from my Roku. Additionally, often the music will not load on the screen (even when other channels are working perfectly).

My old blu ray died, thanks to my cat knocking it over. I love the small size of this roku plus how much faster it loads compared to my old blu ray. I don't have cable ( hate commercials ) so I use the roku as my main entertainment, it has everything I need to watch the shows I love. Plus it connects with my phone!

I live in a rural area and have been using Apple TV, matter of fact was on my second one. Very unreliable, so I decided to try another device. Heard about Ruko from friends and they were satisfied. Went to Best Buy and bought the Ruko 2 unit. Extremely easy to set up, followed the on screen instructions and was amazed the speed programs started and the clearity of the picture. I am very satisfied and extremely satisfied with the Ruko2. Don't waste your money and time on Apple TV. Ruko is the way to go

Great streamer with plenty of channel options

I purchased two Roku 2's and a stick for my "cable-free" television setup. I have been satisfied with the performance of the Roku's, however on occasion the responsiveness of the remotes seem to be lacking. Using SlingTV on the Roku's the remote sometimes operates as if the directional button is sticking when just clicking on the button once or twice. It begins scrolling through the content and doesn't stop until it hits the end, or you press the opposite directional button. Not sure if this is related to the channel, or the Roku. The other gripe I have is why Roku made the decision to not include an RF remote with all of the different models, instead of just with the Stick and HD 3. I can't imagine it's that much more money and would've matched what most cable and satellite providers now offer. Overall a good product, but some room for improvement.
