I have played with the Roku2 for a week and while it is very good for keeping up with favorite shows, can't get local news/weather live as well as sports. I was hoping to replace Direct TV but this is a really good supplement but not enough to cut the string.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've only had our Roku2 for a week or so and couldn't be happier. It's a totally different way of watching tv than what we're used to, but different isn't a bad thing. We did purchase Hulu to watc our current shows.

Having Fun, But Some Channels need work

Good set box. Some channels like Hulu and CBS are slow in retrieving shows, but overall it is good.

In my previous job I always recommended the roku as a money saving tool, now I bought my own and realize it is more than a way to save money it is a tool no home should be without.
