Fantastic Gadget!

I purchased the Roku 2 for my spare TV in the bedroom. I subscribe to a Streaming Movie subscription and I was surprised to see many other channels and features that were FREE. It was simple to set up on my WiFi router. I simply hooked it up and followed the directions on the screen. I was watching movies in 15 minutes tops! The ONLY flaw I can see in this greatest invention since the wheel, is that you can't turn it off. So don't be looking for a on-off switch. The Roku folks say it isn't necessary to turn it off, as it draws so little power. I would recommend this device for anyone who has need of an additional Wifi connection.

I have two versions of the Roku 2. This update on this model is definitely an improvement. My only complaint is the remote is now infrared.

I brought the Roku 2 for my hdtv after purchasing the Roku 1 for an older tv. The 2 is faster than the 1 hands down. It has added games but most you have to buy.

Disappointment

I don't know if it's the Roku or Cox Internet service, but I am not having good luck with this equipment. I have tried twice today to get on Netflix or Amazon and can not do either. I am very frustrated!

ive owned the streaming stick but it kept overheating but loved the amoun t of channels i get with my roku so i purchased a roku2 to replace my streaming stick

Easy to set up and get started watching

I bought my Roku 3 for the main house about 10 months ago. We have been very happy with the product and with the shows we can receive. I no longer have cable or Direct TV. I put up and Antenna for certain local shows, but everything else we use the Ruko for. I bought a Ruko 2 about 2 weeks ago for our 2nd home, I was looking for a Ruko 3 but the store did not have one at the time. I am very pleased with my Ruko 2 I would recommend Ruko to anyone with no reservations.
They both have been wonderful since I purchased them I cannot say enough about them or the service we receive. One of the many thing I like is we can have up to 3 Rukos and we do not get hit with extra fee’s or charges. Way to go Ruko great feature.
