I have a slow internet connection and am very pleased with it's operation, it's smooth with a great picture. I use it for Netflix and HBO so far. Sure beats the heck out of much higher cable prices. My disappointment with Dish forced me to cancel and try this, I'm glad I did.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and love it. There are many dif channels and it's pretty fast streaming. If I had to have a con so far it would be that when your're watching a free movie or show, it goes to commercial often and it tends to be the same commercial over and over. It really is annoying and I don't understand why there can't be other commercials. However, I am so far happy and satisfied. I also purchased SLING which has all my favorite channels and I'm saving $30 still a month from cable.

better than Satillite TV, Directv or Dish

Bought this to replace my desktop that died, We got rid of Sat. Tv over a year ago, and has been using a desktop.. Love my Roku, hubby is not afraid to use it and he can watch his hunting shows and I can watch what I want when I want and only pay for what I want. Only thing I wish that I could get network programming without paying extra, ei HGTV, Foodnet, etc

Easy to use and fast.

I have both a Roku TV and the Roku 2. They are both very easy to use. I am able to move through the menus fast. Only down side is that Roku does not have agreements with Fox and TBS to name a couple. I am trying this format out in lieu of cable tv. We watch a lot of sports and streaming is good but not great. Make no mistake, watching TV in a streaming format is not the same as watching cable tv or over the air tv live. Roku seems to be a very good product. Within the Roku format, I have Sling TV also which makes viewing sports easier. When buying Roku, make sure you buy an HDMI cable which is not included.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Plug it in and follow the prompts, it's hard times up. Make sure you have a new HDMI cable though.
