Almost flawless

I bought my Roku about one month ago. It was my intention to use it with the most basic cable. What I have found is that I have no need for cable! A major savings. Everything I need or watch or want to watch I can see with my Roku - cut the cable! To be truly flawless - cover the rest of the broadcast channels - even if you need to watch them the next day.

Wicked fast

I purchased this Roku 2 to replace my Roku 1 when the stuttering and freezing on Hulu Plus was too great to bear. This product is lightning fast and has solved my classic first world problem :-)
If you have Netflix or Hulu or Amazon Prime I think this is your best bet. I can't speak for the others.
Setup was incredibly easy and there were no hiccups, errors or any issues whatsoever.
I would recommend this to a friend!

More reliable than Roku 3

After purchasing the Roku 3 and having repeated issues with the remote communicating with the receiver, I returned the Roku 3 and purchased the Roku 2. The Roku 2 is infrared vs. the RF remote for the Roku 3 and works much better. Until they can work out the bugs with communication on the Roku 3, I recommend that you save your money and go with the Roku 2. Also, the voice recognition on the Roku 3 is only good for searching out available streaming channels and not for searching YouTube videos and other text-dependent entries, so don't waste your time or money on the Roku 3. The Roku 2 is working well so far.

I've had it a few weeks, however u will need more than jus a roku to get rid of cable. cause you still have to pay for every show unless ur a prime member or know how to use the plex app. I highly recommend the plex app
