better than cable.

Purchased 2 wks. ago. Have had connection problems from the get go. Its early A.M. no other devices on and can,t get a connection, resorting to my pc it has no problems connecting from same location. Reason for 3 stars, still better than cable and I havn't tried to resolve the Roku connection problem. May have return this product. Should I exchange this one for another? Undecided at the moment. I can say I'm really dissappointed after hearing so many good things about Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought the roku 2 a month ago and couldn't be happier with it. No more satellite for me cut my bill way down.

Not easy to navigate from channel to channel

A new dawn for video!

I bought the Roku after my computer guy told me the Chromecast just wouldn't measure up to it. He was so right. I can see everything I want and it streams effortlessly. Great product.

Over-joyed to be back!

Our purchase of a Samsung smart tv relegated our Roku X to the bedroom tv. But the Samsung Smart Hub proved unreliable, it was seemingly always "unavailable" due to software updating. Further annoyance came from the fact that often/usually the updates required an additional update to fully function.
Enough was enough. A new Roku 2 was purchased and the ether cable was switched from the back of the tv to the new Roku. Superb performance from initial startup, the same experience we had with the old Roku X. However the Roku 2 is noticeable fast then the X and features an etherport as well.
It's great to be back. Our streaming experience is once again pleasant and reliable.

Roku 2 is good but can be improved

good to get access to Asian TV for us. the Roku 2 does not switch off automativally when not used or we dont know how to do it. Also, the 78 inch Samsung we have does not show full screen when played through ROKU

Love the fact that there was no hold time and I got to speak to a customer service agent immediately who led me through the process of restroring my roku so easily. Thank you for providing such great service to a technically challenged customer. I am loving my roku!
