I'm pleased to report both my husband and I are happy with the streaming experience through Roku. It took me a while to convince my husband to give it a try, and he is a tough critic, but is very pleased with the format.

with the extra of being able to plug in my external hard drive and watch my movies makes it amazing

Amazed! There is so much to watch

I have had this for about two weeks. I hemmed and hawed for awhile on getting a roku. Well, I visited my brother two months ago and he recently bought a roku 2. He was pontificating on the amount of channels and the variety of programming. I had been looking at roku as an alternative option for viewing internet programs like Youtube. I finally got a chance to test drive it at my brother's house. It seemed easy to use. I finally gave into purchasing a roku 2. It has a lot to offer. I can see why so many people are cutting the cord. I use it for mostly Youtube and Amazon Prime. It's great. It loads quickly and it was super easy to set up. I kind of wish that I bought the roku 3 because the roku 2's remote is finicky. The remote has to be pointed directly at the roku 2 to operate. I will eventually buy the roku 3 when I get a newer tv. I like it a lot.

This was the second Roku I purchased. I already have the Roku 3 but wanted a second for the upstairs TV. The extra features were not necessary so the Roku 2 was the perfect application.

I have been with Roku for a week and the first day I saw 4 movies! the best is that I got movies in my language(french) and recent movies I couldn't have in theater here..This is a lot of fun

Love my Roku 2 2015 version

I was using the Sony blu-ray DVD player for Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu. It couldn't keep up with my cable internet service. I love my new Roku 2 2015 version with the fast processor. I keeps up with my fast cable internet. I also like the fact that you can get CBS All Access as an app. Where the others don't offer that app yet. It is very easy to set-up and use.

Awesome interface for programming.

I love the product for its wide array of programming options. One draw back I hope they are working on is the remote. It is slow to unresponsive. The remote also has a very limited range. Would like to see them come up with a remote that responds with greater touch sensitivity. Overall, excellent product interfacing though.
