Simple to use, fabulous to watch!

I am on my third year with my beloved Roku 2 and it has been a fabulous piece of equipment to enhance my home. I use my Roku throughout the day to play music while I work from home. I use it to stream my daily yoga exercise. In the evenings, we use it to watch movies, series, and documentaries. Since we refuse to participate in traditional television, this is a great alternative and a way to watch or listen to what we want, when we want it.
Just purchased one for my elderly parents so they can watch when they are ready each evening.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Runs as good as a Roku 3!

I've had a Roku 3 for a couple of years and it has worked flawlessly. I needed to buy another streamer for a different TV and of course thought of another Roku 3 but really didn't need the headphone or voice search so I opted for the Roku 2. It runs ever bit as fast as the 3 and I'm very satisfied!

This is my third Roku; I have one for each television. Since I no longer have cable, Roku is the easiest way to stream what I want to watch, when I want to watch it, period. Easy to use and set up, no complaints from me (except I'm still waiting for BBC to be an option).

I didn't even know what Roku was a month ago. Today, I love it!! Been watching Amazon prime and Netflix on my iPad at night to keep from disturbing my partner. Really got hooked on some of the exclusives and originals they have. Wanted to start watching them on tv. Started researching amazon's products. Read several terrible reviews, so I checked out Roku. After reading many great reviews I went with the Roku 2 2015 version. Plugged it in, registered my accounts, and been happy ever since. Not a single issue. I didn't care about all the extra bells and whistles of the other versions, all I needed is to be able to stream to tv. For the price, it's perfect.

A pretty good selection of TV shows and movies

My wife and I were looking for a decent alternative to the scheduled TV shows provided by our cable company plus in the winter months, a different format of movies and games. So far, we are enjoying the product. The picture in 1080 is great. The only problem we initially occurred was "buffering". Movies and Pandora and You Tube would stop in mid-stream to download the next material. It appears I resolved the issue by changing the Network Mode on the router and the last several movies have run straight through. Pandora was on yesterday,11/02, for about 7 hours while we did housework and it did not stop.
