Great Features & Easy Install.....

Best purchase I've made in some time!! No more straining at the computer for Netflix, Amazon Prime or YouTube... taking it to the 'big screen'! Plus all of the channel options, including exercise/lifestyle videos.... I am simply over-the-moon about it! I've had the unit for approx. 2-3 weeks now & already experienced two 'minor' pause/buffering incidents.... hopefully this won't escalate....fingers crossed! All in all, this is a great buy & would make a great gift for family/friends. Very satisfied customer.... so far. ;)

Fast Streaming, Small Size

I bought this to replace the hassle of connecting to Netflix through PS 3, which kept dropping the connection. The install was easy, and Netflix comes up almost instantly now, as compared with a very difficult connection challenge with PS 3.

Disappointing remote control

As usual, as this is the 4th one in my house, I love all of the features of the Roku 2. My main disappointment is concerning the change in remote control design. First of all, I am upset with the fact that they eliminated the headphone jack on this model. I feel it should be standard on all models now. In addition, I don't like that you must have the remote directly pointing at the Roku 2 for it to work. It used to be that you could be anywhere in the area and it would work. Finally, I find that the buttons are much less sensitive than they used to be, making it difficult to pause, rewind and fast forward without going way off track.
Again, a great model as for the Roku itself, but the new remote leaves much to be desired. I shouldn't have to pay an extra $20 just to get a remote that works well (especially since I already have 3 other Roku models throughout my home).

I researched many like items like ROKU, and found my
ROKU 2 to be the best value for what it need to do. The only thing that I would like added are National Football League [NFL] Games for local teams.
