Works for Us!

We have two home and decided to cut out the t.v. part of our cable subscription at the second home. Looked at alternatives and decided Roku had the best subscription and non-subscription streaming options. We love Netflix and utilize our Sirius subscription from our car through Roku for music. Our cable company at our permanent home has some apps for watching t.v. reruns, some of which can be set up through Roku so we can watch them on the big screen rather than on our ipads. There are a lot of interesting free options for watching newsclips and documentary type shows. The free movie apps sometimes have something interesting as well. We initially took the one Roku back and forth between homes but decided to buy a second one....well worth it!

Love some of the Netflix original series

Great for non smart TV

Used this to stream to a bedroom television that was not a smart tv and it works great especially with plex server.

We have only had our Roku a little over 2 weeks. After a little learning curve for the most part we absolutely like it and would never go back to paying for tv via cable or satellite again!

I got the roku for some weeks now and its pretty good, sometimes the resolution bugs out but it's pretty good overall. However there is this awful light that can't be turned off when you plug in the roku and if at night, you can put up with it, then I see no reason why not to have a roku.

This is my second ROKU. The first was a ROKU 3. I decided on the ROKU 2 for my second purchase because as I didn't need nor particularly want the headphones i opted for the less expensive option. I am not disappointed. It is flawless and I recommend it!
