Great upgrade from the original models

We waiting way to long to upgrade! This Roku has everything you need, if you don't care about the remote control extras offered. The menu is clean and easy to learn and you have access to so many more channels over the original models.
Four star review because some channels can be flaky and not return after a "break" or even load an episode (I'm talking to you Crackle!). Otherwise, this Roku is a great deal for the money.

Simple Set Up - Excellent Performance

I waited a long time before finally buying a media player. I had hoped my smart TV would be a good option but the Roku 2 blows away the TV in terms of streaming services and playing media across my network. The installation was simple and the Roku 2 works great.

Good features

I bought this a few weeks ago and it works really well on wifi. I have noticed that when my internet acts up and the signal is weak, unlike youtube on a computer where it gets lower quality and blurry, instead the quality stays perfect but the frame rate drops and gets choppy. I don't know if they really is better or worse, but all in all its a great product and definitely would recommend if you're looking for a simple device to play any streaming media.

Newer style of the unit. Great user interface. Very fast loading of content. Easy set up. Better looking and faster than our other two Roku units.

I bought this item 2 weeks ago, and I am absolutely hooked. Better than cable, as I can select what I view to watch, things that interest me via Amazon Prime, Youtube, Netflix and JW.org. I absolutely love it. Thanks.

Happy with Roku. Needs an off button. Must unplug to close device. Could leave on, but uses wi-fi and elec, gets too hot, etc., freezes images. But very good.
