Has all the content I need in a sleek and quick interface. Now I am able to watch all the shows I love while cutting down on overall entertainment expenses (Meaning dropping cable was easy).

Love Roku

We have bought 3 tikis. One we gave as a gift, the other two we use in our home. I love everything about them! We have a roku 2 in our living room and a roku 3 in our bedroom. The roku 3 has earphones so if I or my husband has trouble sleeping we can watch t.v. Without disturbing the sleeping partner!
We can stream more channels than a lot of smart t.v.s! If you are considering buying one: do it! No regrets!!'

Tons of stations

I dropped my satellite TV several months ago. I had an Apple TV in the living room and was quite frankly disappointed in how few programs and channels it had to offer. I think it only has one free movie channel. I found myself having to Airplay the TV programs I liked from my I-pad to the Apple TV, IE local news, Newsmax, Etc. I needed a streamer for the bedroom TV, so I thought I'd try a Roku. I am astonished at how many channels and programs there are. I get one local news channel, Newsmax, dozens of free movie channels, nostalgia channels, and so much more. There is no contest between Apple and Roku. Roku wins HANDS DOWN! My question is how does Roku do it and Apple doesn't? I hope and expect Apple to get better soon, but it has a long long way to go. Apple TV is a little more user friendly, but I would say that is because of the limited programming.
