Easy-to-understand menus and overall concept

As someone who is new to the concept of having streaming media transmitted through the television, I'm glad I went with the Roku 2. I am convinced that I am highly likely to never subscribe to any local cable packages, because Roku provides me with the ability to choose what I want to see upon demand. The menus are easy to use, and certain applications (YouTube, in my case) allow for pairing devices together, which results in allowing me to use my computer keyboard like I prefer. I enjoy building a Roku channel list that only contains what I need and the initial setup was very easy to use. I just wish I didn't have to create a login and password for every subscription/channel that demands one, something Roku might not be responsible for, but might find beneficial to integrate into one login/password in the future.

Sling TV is kind of disappointing (way too much rebuffering on ESPN and ESPN2), but the Watch ESPN app seems to take care of most of that. I think that's an issue with Sling TV, not with Roku. Otherwise, great product. Netflix works way better on it than on my Blu-Ray player.

I love the concept, hate all the commercials on some "networks". Easy 2 set up, easy to use, and the voice search feature for my cell phone is awesome!

We bought the roku 2 after we tried to set up a Apple TV which i was about to throw the Apple TV out the window. The roku 2 was VERY easy to set up and we are very pleased with how well we can receive all our programs. I highly recommend this product. ;-)
