Very good hardware and software design. Easy to install and connect. Possible to connect with Tablo (Air off signal DVR) and international (Russian) channels.

Amazing device!

We bought roku a little while ago after hearing reviews about it. It has so many features and opens up a world of movies and shows. This is far superior to just a regular netflix subscription. The movie apps with movies are endless and everything is easy to use and see. It doesn't take much to figure the roku out. Amazing product and would highly recommend it!

Lots of Apps but sound skips alot

I do like the Roku and if not for the sound issues, this would be a 5 star review. No other streaming device in my house has the same issues, so it's definitely the Roku. The sound cuts out for a second ever couple of minutes (sometimes more often). It's like a CD that is skipping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You Gotta Do the Roku

I have had my Roku 2 for a couple of weeks and it's my new favorite toy! I used to stream via my Wii and always whined about the inaccuracy of the controller for steaming (great for Wii games, mind you, but streaming? Not so much) so I ordered the Roku, rigged it up (with ease and I'm 63) and the fun began. It is very, very user friendly and it streams seamlessly...no constant buffering as via Wii and PS3. Love this gadget!!!!!

The streaming is seamless, with no pixels dropped (I do have a 30Mb plan, and use the Ethernet port rather than wireless).
The quality is true HD, and rivals that from a blu ray disc.
