Lightning fast load up, several excellent apps.... especially those cable companion apps to compliment the satellite or cable subscription and nearly eliminate the need for rental of an extra box. I'd like to see a few more, like FoxsportsGo

I have the Apple Tv and decided to get the Roku for Sling Tv. My experience has been that even though Roku is ok , I get a better streaming results with the Apple Tv.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've long considered myself the lowest common denominator in all things electronic. However, with Roku both set up and use are as easy as can be--if I can do it anyone can! it has changed, for the better, how i choose to watch television, and what i watch...

This Little Box is Pretty Impressive

I use Roku for streaming my Amazon programming and it works great. The unit seems to stay pretty warm though. I wish there could be an on/off switch but still have the capability of receiving the periodic updates during down times.
