HBO NOW is a problem

All channels are great except for HBO NOW.
If I am on with HBO after about 2 hrs, the exit screens get hung up or frozen.
At that point, I have to power reboot to get out. It'is a pain since none of the other channels do that. BTW I am not talking about buffering...

Easy to use

I bought the new 2015 Roku 2 after much research. It is fast and has almost all the features as the Roku 3, without the extra cost. After I set it up, which was very simple, I bought Netflix and seamlessly used my Roku 2 to connect to it. I love this device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Content - Inconsistent Performance.

I bought this Roku 2 a few weeks ago. The available content is excellent. However, since I've owned this player I have had instances, more than tree so far, when I call up a video in one of the available channels it will not play. The only channel that woks consistently, to some degree, is NETFLIX. In order to get the player to function properly, I've had to completely reset my player in order to get this to work. Calling customer support has been much help either. Even though they try to help, it's like the blind leading the blind. Perhaps my player is defective.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thought it would be faster...

I originally owned the Roku LT when that first came some years ago, so I decided to upgrade and give my original to a family member. The Roku 2 states it has a faster processor, expandable memory, and ethernet, which are all great features but I needed the faster processor. I compared with my Roku LT and they both seem identical speed wise. This feature was the main reason for making my purchase. I was going to go with the Roku 3 but the processor was the same as the Roku 2, and financially I couldn't spend more money on the unit. The Roku 2 works great and has the streaming capabilities I need, but I'm disappointed with the speed. If I new it was going to be as fast as the Roku LT, I wouldn't have upgraded at this time. So now I paid a lot of money for ethernet and expandable memory, both are not a priority or an absolute need that I wanted in my streaming device. So I'm sorry to say but I'm pretty disappointed with Roku, who I have been praising since I bought my Roku LT.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the search off of all sources, customizations, bookmarking a director or the likes. Sometimes the response to clicks are not quick but all the other features make up for that.

Nearly Terrific

With one exception, I'm very happy with my Roku, which I chose after lots of comparison with other streaming devices. Also loved the light hearted tone on the confirmation and shipping emails. A nice touch. The tiny bad thing is the remote, which doesn't seem very responsive. I have to press the buttons very hard to make selections. Makes me wonder if it will last as long as the streamer.

I decided to get rid of cable TV. The Roku is plenty options to watch. I wish the antenna worked as well as Roku.
