Perfect streaming interface

We've had the Roku 1 in our living room for well over a year now and love it. We finally got the Roku 2 for our bedroom and it's even better. We don't even have cable in our bedroom because we find we get everything we want to watch through the Roku. The Roku 2 is laid out even better than the 1. if you are thinking about one it's worth it in my opinion. Set up is super easy and both units have run flawlessly. i just wish Comcast, HBOGO, and Roku would come to an agreement so we can watch HBOGO on it.

I replaced an older unit recent with the Roku 2 and it is a big improvement in terms of organization, response and resolution.

I am still muddling through but notice that so many have fees, that probably have the same shows. Plus when you take the free trial you better remember to discontinue it when the trial period is up or you will be paying for duplicate stuff. But at the end of the day I love it. Lots of short stuff you can not take up the whole night watching and lots of other stuff, wish they had a better way to preview a channel than to commit to the "free trial".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love my Roku!

I have two of these units. One for our summer home and one for our winter home. Was not sure about the technology at first because we had always had cable, but it is amazing. We do not even miss cable. We use Roku with Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, CBS All Access, and Pandora and cannot watch everything that is available. The latest Roku that I ordered has new features that are very nice. Why anyone would go to the expense of cable or satellite anymore, I just do not understand. And so easy to set up. Just plug into the TV with an HDMI cable, follow the instructions that tell you to go online to register, then log into your stations that you subscribe to and you are all set! I show this to everyone that visits and have converted a couple people from their expensive cable bills.

It is one month old and the option button to do a search does not even work anymore. Not to happy overall
