Easy setup - but you have to create Roku account

Does what we want...connects us to Netflix. Didn't want to have to create another online account, which Roku requires. I also wish it would shut off when not in use.

Got this for an early Christmas present and since I don't have "dish" or "cable" this gives me a great variety of options. I couldn't be happier.

Easy Set-Up-Lots of Options

We bought two of these and are very happy with the Roku 2. Extremely easy to set-u and lots of channels offered. My only wish would be that there was a one click link to use your Roku log in to sign up for various channels. For example, if want Hulu can just click on option to subscribe and your Roku log in will be enough to do it. Having lots of trouble with Acorn subscription when would not if linked to Roku.

I have two of these units now and I'm very pleased. I would like to see more free viewing opportunity, but I understand...it is what it is. It does what it supposed to and it does it very well.

Roku is Great. We have a #2 and #3 . for the money, #3 is worth a few dollars more because it comes with headphones and the HDMI cable, #2 does not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My cable company kept higher the cost. I dropped my ph thinking it would lower the monthly bill on my cable , Would you believe I had to pay more , since I was no longer on the bundle package , It took awhile for me to drop my TV option fretting NO TV , the set up was easy after I create my account but now I can afford to watch and enjoy ,

Simple, fast and cute!

I've had my Roku 2 for about 2 weeks now and I am very pleased with it. I can stream anything from Netflix and Hulu and it's pretty fast. Rarely has to buffer! However it has frozen up on me twice. Honestly I think it might have to do with your internet connection. I don't use anything other than Netflix and Hulu but you can make purchases from the Roku on the TV screen, which I believe is per channel. You do have to sign up and register your Roku. You can also make purchases from the website. Another thing I love is that it is small and doesn't take up much space!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product except for one critial thing

I like the product. I like the selection of video streaming and internet radio. I like that it play videos on my NAS drive but I found one issue. Some video that I play off my NAS drive do not have any audio output. Not sure why since I have no issues playing the same video on my Windows desktop, Macbook Pro, iPad, or iPhone 6s Plus. Which is why I only gave your product 3 stars.
