I bought this one after receiving a Roku 3 as a gift last year but bought it for another tv and for the price. I actually like the remote on this one better because of the placement of the buttons.

We bought a second Roku 2 for our house. I love the new button on the bottom that allows us to access Sling. Faster processor works great with out internet upgrade.

Bought this so I could stream movies in my new home theater even though it comes with its own remote I downloaded the free ROKU remote app for my iPhone/iPad and it operates perfectly with no interruptions in streaming HD/HDX movies and the movie options are up to date.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even better than sliced bread

I've owned a Roku 2 (4210R) just a couple of weeks. It's easier, more reliable and faster than internet streaming via my glitchy "smart" TV and/or even more glitchy blu-ray player ever were, and it gets along very nicely with Plex to stream music from my desktop. Dollar for dollar, I doubt there's a better streaming device on the market. Sole regret: I didn't buy it sooner.
