I am very happy with this purchase, this is my first ROKU, it works very well, super fast streaming, easy to set up, so far I've been playing a lot of Netflix, Hulu, Vevo and they are working excellent!!!

I upgraded my existing roku 2 player to the faster one after reading the wire cutter review for best streaming player. I have to say this one is soooo much better even though nothing changed except the processor. What a great buy! All the apps I already had, showed up on the new player also. It was a breeze setting up. I was a bit wary of setting it up because I didn't want to download all the apps I had previously.

Honestly, I wasn't sure of we were going to like it but we are sold. My wife and have stopped watching Netflix and other streaming sites on the computer. There are also free channels that we like like Newsy which isn't obnoxious like typical cable news channels which have too much flash and overly dramatic sound fx and on screen personalities. The future is coming and Roku is one of the technologies that is helping to liberate the TV market and allow anyone to have a go at creating content. So what if a channnel doesn't reach millions - but if boutique channels can appeal to enough people and can sustain themselves, well, if that pulls viewers away from the big cable networks I shed no tears. OUR WIFI CONNECTION THROUGH ROKU IS PERFECT - NO DROPPED CONNECTIONS SO FAR!! I don't know what Roku does but it's like it reaches out and grabs the internet provider and forces it not to drop out like when we steam on other devices. We are cable free and it feels better than ever. Roku rocks!

I purchased this Roku from a retail establishment on the referral from a friend. I am so glad we made the decision to do this. WE choose what we want to watch and what we want to pay for. AMAZING..
