Not my first, second or third...

This is my fourth purchase of a Roku! Not that anything went wrong with the other three- I needed one for my studio, since the girlfriend talked me out of my other one- and the other two were gifts! And everyone loves them, including friends that have heard of it but never seen what the Roku is capable of providing- it really sells itself!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quality Player

After a few weeks of use, my family enjoys the ease and efficiency of the ROKU 2 player. First, it was extremely simple to set-up with onscreen instructions that the least tech savvy person can follow. We did have a internet connectivity issue at the beginning but this was a result of our router. Second, it was easy to choose and set-up the home screen with individualized channels. The sign on process and connection to Amazon, Hulu & Netflix was accomplished with no issues. We did have an issue adding a channel to the home-screen missed at set-up. It was difficult to find out how to do this, but we finally figured it out. The streaming speed was exceptional and we have a middle grade internet package from our service provider. Overall, we purchased this to review whether to cut the chord with cable. After 2 months we are strongly considering moving away from cable and utilizing the streaming device for our entertainment. I would strongly recommend the ROKU 2.

Easy set-up (as always), faster YouTube streaming

I watch a fair amount of YouTube content, and found that my Roku LT was no longer up to snuff (lots of "loading," glitchy/stuttering playback, etc.). I was a bit worried that my internet was the real culprit, but I noticed an immediate and clear difference as soon as I set-up my Roku 2. I have NO problems streaming YouTube videos for hours at a time, and the page loads faster. I think the video quality of some of the other apps I use is also better. Overall, I'm very happy that I upgraded. And, as per usual, with Roku, the set-up couldn't have been easier!
