Lots of choices

In general, we have loved our Roku. There's a wide range of t.v. shows available through Hulu, which is the first channel we are sampling. What I didn't know is that some channels require you to have cable, which was a disappointment. We also didn't realize that, beyond the free week or month some channels offer, you have to pay a subscription fee per month. Not sure how this is better than cable other than being able to pause shows and watch what you want when you want (except live streaming in our area). Also, we were hoping to stream football games, but were unable to. Sometimes commercials pop up in the middle of a scene instead of a logical commercial break. We also get tired of seeing the same commercials multiple times per night. I don't know if that problem has more to do with Hulu.

When this arrived, I had it connected and working in less than 10 minutes. Now I can binge watch the gray days away.

Pretty good, light is too bright, no volume contro

I am generally happy with the product; however, there are a couple features which I think could improve things. First, a volume control would be excellent, it seems like I shouldn't need 2 remotes just to watch tv through the roku. Second, that light on the front is as bright as the light from 1000 suns and there's no way to turn it off so I would have to put something in front of it, which, of course blocks the remote cunction

this is our second roku for another tv in a small room and it works so great----only have to buy it once and it feels like we have something better than cable or satellite!

Plenty to watch

I bought this because I don't want to pay for cable and am quite satisfied with my decision. The only problem I have is some of the free movies there are more commercials than there need to be especially since they are the same commercials.

I enjoy the apps Roku offers. I subscribe to Acorn TV and can easily access it from my Roku. I am so happy to be able to access JW Broadcasting.

I love my Roku 2 , it was easy to install. Economical only needed my WiFi connection and my TV with HDMI cable. I choose the networks and channels I want. Absolutely love it. Highly recommend this Roku.
