I bought it for Amazon Prime Video, I have an Apple TV which has much better picture quality. It's a little slow in access to shows.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this latest roku2 for my family room and I am crazy in love with it-love the auto transition to the next episode or next' similar choice- great picture quality and great surround sound - best tech choice I've made!

i bought one and then bought a second one and I am glad I did, this is very easy to use and just what I was looking for to get away from the expensive cable companies.

I bought the ROKU 2 because my boyfriend has the ROKU 1 and it is fantastic! However, we can watch netflicks for free on his, but not mine. We are on different internet services, so maybe that's the answer. I also like to watch T.V. episodes, and he does'nt which is one reason why I got my own.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I already have a Roku 3 for my main television, but I wanted a Roku for a second television. The Roku website comparison info made it easy to determine Roku 2 was the one for me. It is as easy to operate and navigate as Roku 3. I love the quick buttons on the remote. Setup was super simple, I'm a very happy camper.
