Improved functioning but weaker remote control

Overall I'm satisfied but the remote on my ROKU 1 was better. It doesn't work with my Roku 2 so I have to use the new one. It's ok but doesn't seem to be as strong as far as it signal range.
I would recommend this to a friend!

since i am a senior, my son helped me set this up and it has been total fun seeing what i want to watch next, only have had it for 1 week but am totally loving it.

Mixed feelings

I bought it smarten up my dumb TV. It works good but I am already fed up with the commercials on the free streaming channels. They repeat the same commercial 3 or 4 times. I understand about something for nothing, and bad with the good, but c'mon man....who can deal with this?

Have a stick and a 3 but needed another player for a third TV. Decided to try the 2. It's a great unit. Just as fast if not faster than the 3 and 2/3 the price. Also love the Sling one touch button.
This has past the fad stage in our family. We're hooked. Great job Roku!

The Roku is great. Only gripe is the endless apps that require a TV provider. If I had a TV provider I probably wouldn't have the Roku. All these apps need a non-provider version. Thanks.
