I BOUGHT THIS ROKU 2 SEVERAL MONTHS AGO BUT JUST RECENTLY ACTIVATED IT. IT REPLACES AN OLDER ROKU 2 I HAD.

We like the access to all the different channels. There should be a Foxsports channel to. One down side is our service provider comcast/xfinity is not available in some channels so my children can't watch certain kid shows. Needs "the weather channel" channel

The ROKU 2 is the second ROKU unit that I bought just a few weeks ago. I already have a ROKU 3 that I have been using for a while. Both units give us excellent pictures and access to a lot more apps that we ever actually need. I have 5 smart Tvs with cable boxes. I have been wanting to eliminate some of the cable boxes by using Wifi. But streaming videos with the smart Tvs are very spotty. With ROKU the buffering and sound distortion are imperceptible. I am very happy with these units as they are far superior than the smart tv features. I intend to add more ROKU units and not use the smart tv features any more. Will probably add a ROKU stick next.

I had to do 3 master resets and it still did not work properly. Returned.

Lightening Fast and Great Features!

I bought the Roku 1 many years ago and recently subscribed to Sling. I was experiencing some difficulty with live streaming and decided to upgrade to the Roku 2. I also bought the microSD Card that Roku recommends for memory expansion. The Roku 2 was the answer to my live streaming issues, not only is it lightening fast my HD picture seems better. My daughter also has the original Roku and asked for an upgrade for Christmas. I purchased the Roku 3 for her in that she has roommates and will use the ear piece to listen to her favorite shows.
