Remote needs improving

This is my 4th Roku and by far the worst remote I have had. The buttons are hard to push and it must be directly aligned in front of the device in order to work. Also the indicator light on the Roku is much too bright. And since I have to aim the remote directly at the box, the light then shines in my eyes. I have no complaints with actual streaming.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I waited to buy the new Roku 2 but I shouldn't have. It is easy to set up and it has so many choices available for use! I can see why many people have cut the cable and have gone to the Roku 2. If you don't need all the bells and whistles just get the Roku 2 and you should be very happy. It is a giant leap forward from my ols Roku. Get one!!!

Fast. Too bad the remote doesn't work.

Love the fast processor and the new apps, but the remote freezes and the system needs to be powered off to fix it. Returned the unit thinking it was defective, new unit does the exact same thing. Really a shame. Ruins a near perfect device otherwise.
