super fast

very happy with our purchase. we have a 4-5 year old version (XD) that we use for our older tv. our newer tv came with smart tv capabilities so we held off, but so many limitations make me consider the roku again. originally I was going to purchase the roku 3, but with the 2015 roku 2 revisions it ended getting this one. what use to take 30-40 load time to pull up the Netflix app now takes 2-3 seconds. the wifi is much better then our older XD. even with our baby monitor next to the roku 2 it has no problem getting a strong wifi signal. our XD had lots of problems with our monitor next to it. Thanks ROKU, keep up the good work.

Remote doesn't work as well as the 1st Roku

The remote on this model or at least the one I got, is very frustrating. Difficult to to make selections. I have downloaded the App for my phone and generally use the Remote App instead.

Awesome Option to Stream

I received this as a gift and I love the options it has. Most channels require a subscription but I like the choices among the other streaming options.

We purchased this because we were growing weary of buffering issues with Netflix via our Blu-ray player. the additional channel options pub here absolutely delight us.

Slower at times than I think it should be with a 100mbps internet connection. Needs a QWERTY keyboard to search easily, the way it works is very cumbersome. Some channels are just old and/or dud shows, but does get some TV shows without having to pay the outrageous rates sat tv and cable charge. Overall I like it.
