We got a Roku as a gift from our son. We had been having so many connection issues with our wd player we thought it might be our internet connection. not at all the case. ROku is very fast to start up, links to all of the services and never falters

Great replacement for cable

I have used the Roku 2HD since 2012. We stream Netflix, jw.org and Pandora mostly, but enjoy some of the other channels, too. The Roku worked great until about a month ago, when it quit connecting to the wifi. After spending too much time with someone who did not have a technical background on customer support, we figured out that the Roku was a lost cause. It had worked well for 3 years, so we replaced it with a new Roku 2HD. So far, so good.

My second Roku for my bedroom tv. I'm really satisfied with this product. Have had the other one, a Roku 3 for 3 years and couldn't be happier.

I've used my new Roku DAILY ever since I got it, over a week ago -- the 2015 upgrade MATCHES last year's Roku 3, which I also bought, and gifted to my daughter.
CABLE? PLEASE -- I have Roku!!

Good improvement

The Roku 2 with the new processer is a great improvement over previous devices. Quick navigation and reliable connectivity. This is a good upgrade or first time purchase for streaming and ditching the dish. Great channel selection. The only drawback so far is the remote. It has 4 dedicated channel buttons (netfix, Rdio, etc) which are not user configurable. Since Rdio is out of business that button is useless and can't be set to another channel. Come on Roku, give your customers preference over your sponsors. Makes me skeptical of what Roku will do in the future as concerns existing customers and their wishes.

It streams with Videos very well

This is my 4th Roku. I just recently purchased the #2 & a #3. They installed sooooooo simply and work. However, the #1 that plugs into the HDMI port failed due to the cord pulling the unit downwards and disconnecting. Very Troublesome. I have 3 that are functioning as expected.
