Awesome tool and easy to use !

Bought this a week ago and man is it ever easy and full of features. So glad I invested money in this Roku over another month of bloated cable tv services. Thanks Roku you have made me and my wife happy for cutting the cord.

Better than Amazon Fire stick

We had bought the fire stick and was pleased for a while. Then we bought a Roku 2 for the main TV. Love the search feature and speed of content. This is our second Roku 2.

Bought this device to replace the Chromecast. Kids were always bugging us to get our iPhones to change shows, etc. Having a remote they can use is the best thing ever.
I have to say though, the list of channels on Roku is a bit misleading. Even if it's listed as, "free" it's just more like a looping preview of the channel. Be prepared to spend money on practically everything. But, the good news is, it's all ala carte.

What a great product

I have 2 of these out of 5 total roku's in my home. I'm a fan of the old tube style tv's and do not plan on changing that in my life time. Roku has made what I love stay relevant and I can not thank them enough for doing this. With as many people who have the new flat panels I am just amazed that this company cares enough about us nostalgic folk.

Better than ever!

I had been using an older model XS ROKU streamer for quite some time and was very happy with it. I read reviews about the newest generation that praised its features and speed, with a faster processor (ROKU 2 and up), better wi-fi connectivity and enhanced features. I purchased a ROKU 2 a few weeks ago and noticed an immediate improvement. This device is fast, easy to navigate and provides a beautiful, high resolution display. It's a steal! The best bang-for-your-buck, quality-to-dollar value in the tech world. What other device opens up a universe of viewing options, with more choices - and for infinitely less coin - than you get with any cable or satellite service? Kudos! The XS still work fine and was moved to a smaller TV in my home office.

Great Speed

Fast processor speed. This product released in April 2015 is a great addition to my cut the cable (actually satellite) campaign. The lightening quick response is amazing and has brought streaming tv as a real alternative to over priced cable and satellite. I have access to more free tv than ever before. The savings pays for the unit in first month. Although it does not have some of the features of the 4, I evaluated that I would not use those. Something to consider for other folks.
