This Roku is great! The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating is because there is no OFF SWITCH. If the Roku 2 had an off switch it would be really nice. Other than that it works great and I use it all the time at night with my wife to watch movies and TV series. Thanks ROKU!

Got this for Christmas and am overjoyed with the results. Was a little awkward to set up at first but once i figured things out it was a breeze.

Recently switched from routing our streaming services through the blu ray player to Roku 2 unit. The service is literally always on! The Roku seems to be instantaneously connected and we are very pleased with the change. No more dropped shows or waiting endlessly for buffering or being asked to relog into easy service every time...LOVE IT!!

Fails to load

I just bought this the other day as an upgrade to my old Apple TV Ive had for 3 years. I am super disappointed. It took multiple attempts to activate and now no movies will load. It is sitting in the the same spot my old Apple TV was sitting at about 6 feet from the router. Pretty sad that I have to revert back to a product I bought 3 years ago.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are pleased with price. Works well, our only let down is some channels cannot be streamed live. Not roku's fault.
