I bought the roku 2 about a month ago I haven't had any problems it works great. The remote feels pretty cheap but what do you expect for the money. I have Apple TV and prefer that because it feels so much more solid and more features but if you're just wanting an inexpensive streaming device this is a solid option.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Lots of room for improvement

I got this to watch sling tv on a actual tv instead of my phone but it doesn't work always locking up and takes forever to load a channel plus there are very few free channels
and you can't set it up without Credit card unless you call customer service
Overall not a good value to me

No more DTV bill!

I purchased my first roku with a gift card figuring what do I have to lose. What I lost was my giant DTV bill! I recently bought a second roku and my kids love it as much as I do. We miss nothing, even watched the Super Bowl live! I will NEVER go back. I love my Roku!

I have three nominally smart TVs in my home, but two have proven to be not so smart. I have several streaming services, and the Roku 2 is the easy way to negotiate the various services.

I was looking at smart tv's so I could get Amazon Prime movies and found this instead! So glad I did. Inexpensive, and easy to install and set up. I couldn't be happier.

I just love my Roku 2! I bought 2 (one for my bedroom, and living room) I was throwing away over $100 a month on cable! I SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS A LONG TIME AGO!!!
