Bought this for me as a Christmas gift. Much faster than the 1 and I don't have to go crazy trying to get YouTube to work. Easy set up for a non techie like me.

I bought this for my husband so he could watch Game of thrones on HBO now. There are only a few devices that have HBO now available and I read reviews before I bought the roku2. Happy to say all the reviews were correct great device!! Only problem we had was hooking it up to a older tv and content was unable to be displayed, however worked perfectly to newer tv. I believe there is a simple adapter to allow it to hook to older tv but have not purchased one yet. All and all roku2 does what it says it does !!!! Happy costumer!

Got my Roku 2 for Christmas and couldn't be happier! Does everything it says, with speed and dependability.
Although I was under the impression that it would provide more tv and movies itself than it does. But its perfect for my Netflix, Vevo, Youtube, etc.

I have been using my Roku for about 2 weeks now and I love it. It was very easy to setup and I love being able to watch Netflix on my TV along with other programming. I am still getting the hang of using it and plan to sign up for other premium features soon.

Disappointed & frustrated

I bought this for Brians' birthday. He is ill, so having lots of selections on tv seemed perfect.....however, we constantly have trouble getting shows...we have to re-boot EVERY time we use it!...we'll get the little circle, then it gets stuck at either 25% or 99%....then if we are lucky enough to get the show, it'll play for a minute, and suddenly the circle comes back on!....it usually takes ONE HOUR before we can get a program. Last night we gave up and watched nothing. Good chance we're going to take this thing back and get something of better quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had an original Roku for years and it was time to upgrade. The new one works faster looks better and fulfills all my expectations. Love the features and all the channels I can get.

The reception for watching live TV is pretty good it all depends on how much bandwidth you have coming into your home. The more bandwidth the better the picture is when watching Sling TV. Watching Netflix or movies it works Great.
